Click on the "FOOD" tab; it will automatically take you to your food diary page.

Below the bigger tabs on the light blue bar there is a row of smaller tabs. Find the one called "Recipes" (see above). That is where you can enter your own recipes and save them. Click on that.
At first it will set you up to import a recipe from online. I can show you how to do that later, but for now let's manually put a recipe in. Below the box where it asks you to put the URL there is a link that says "Add Recipe Manually" (see above). Click on that.
From here you type in the recipe or whatever ingredients you used in a meal:
You just have to type in the amount (ie: 1 tsp, 1 lb, etc) and what the food is. Don't put in any directions (ie: chopped, diced, grated, etc). Also, don't forget to add how many servings it makes (see above). I always forget that part and have to go back in and change it. When you are done, click "Match Ingredients" (the green button at the bottom of the recipe).
After you click, the website will "think" for just a minute while they calculate your ingredients and such.
If it recognized all of the ingredients it will say it was matched 100%. Yay! If it wasn't able to match some of your ingredients you will have to try phrasing it differently or search for a different type. I haven't had any trouble with this, so it shouldn't give you problems.
If it doesn't recognize:
Now you just have to save the recipe and the website will remember and the next time you make whatever it is you won't have to enter each little ingredient.
Click the green "Save" button up at the top.
Once it has saved it will take you back to your main "Recipes" page. Hopefully the recipe will be there, waiting for you to use it again!
Next up, I'll show you how to use the recipes to enter food into your food diary!
