Pancakes

From From Scratch

  • cups  flour
  • tablespoons  sugar
  • teaspoon  salt
  • tablespoons  baking powder
  • eggs, beat them separately before adding to mixture
  • 14cup  butter, melted (1/8 of a pound)
  • 34cups  milk

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix the dry items first.
  2. Combine the eggs and melted butter to the milk and slowly stir into the flour mixture.
  3. Let sit at least 10 minutes while heating the pan.
  4. These will be high, but light and fluffy -- .

Notes from Jill's Kitchen: Sam is the pancake man in our household and he found this recipe. It was great and made quite a few pancakes. I am putting it here for his future reference.
