Easy caramel sticky rolls

From Mi Madre :)

1/2 c packed brown sugar
1/2 c heavy cream
1/4 c chopped pecans
2 T brown sugar
1 t ground cinnamon
1 can (11 oz) refrigerated soft breadstick dough

1. Heat oven to 350. Mix 1/2 c brown sugar and whipping cream in ungreased round pan or pie plate. (8 x 1 1/2 in). Sprinkle with pecans

2. Mix 2 T brown sugar and cinnamon. Unroll breadstick dough, but do not separate. Sprinkle dough with cinnamon and sugar mix. Roll up from short end; separate at perforations. Place coils in prepared dish.

3. Bake 20-25 min or until golden brown. Cool 1 min. Turn pan upsidedown onto tray or serving plate. Let stand 1 minute so caramel will drizzle over rolls.

Makes 6 rolls

Notes from Jill's kitchen: This is one of the things my mom used to make for Christmas morning when we were younger. I remember trying it myself years ago and it came out doughy, but I am going to try again for Christmas this year and see how it goes. Stay tuned for further updates!
