1 stick of butter, softened 1 c sugarmix togetheradd,2 lg eggs1 c mashed banana1/2 c sour cream1 teaspoon vanillamix togetheradd,1 1/2 c flour1 teaspoon baking soda1 teaspoon saltbake at 350* for 1 hour and 10 min, or until toothpick comes out clean. Let it rest 10 minutes in the pan before you pop it out of the pan to cool.Banana muffinsdo every thing the same except add the baking soda to the sour cream and let it sit for a minute, it will start to get foamy. Also add 1 teaspoon baking powder to the mix. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Notes from Jill's Kitchen: this is from Sam's sister Becky. I am not a fan of banana bread, but add chocolate chips to this and you've got a winner!!
