Dinner in a Pumpkin

From Roommate Ann'

1 lb browned hamburger
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. choppped onion
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 Tbls brown sugar
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 c. cooked rice
1/2 c. chopped mushrooms

Saute celery, onion, and hamburger.  Mix all ingrediants together.  Stuff into a small pumpkin.  Bake at 350 untill pumpkin is tender 1 to 2 hours.  You can use more or less of all these ingredients,  just use plenty of soup.

Note from Roommate Ann's sister: I brown the meat and veggies together, then add flour (maybe 1/4 cup) and cook just a bit, then add milk until it seems like enough (2 cups?).  Adjust milk or add more flour (shaken with a bit of water) if it's too thick or thin.  There is your sauce.  I also use worchestershire sauce instead of soy sauce. Also, when I have it, I add some wild rice to the white rice.  Also good with mild italian sausage.
I think I occasionally add sage, too.

Notes from Jill's Kitchen: I need to keep tweaking this to get the just right combination, but I will get there!
